After much anticipation USCIB announced that Brazil has started accepting ATA Carnets for professional equipment and exhibitions and fairs! This could not come at a better time with the 2016 Olympic and Paralympic Games being held this year in Rio. With the Fourth of July holiday weekend upon us, it’s time for manufacturers and logistics-related organizations to beef up their security measures to help prevent the rise in cargo thefts that typically occurs now and during other holidays. That’s because more shipments are left unattended for extended periods of time over a long holiday weekend, and organized cargo theft rings are on the prowl targeting goods.
